Terms of use
These terms cover use of the Perko website and, where an account has been issued, the Perko platform. They sit alongside our privacy notice and any written agreement with an employer or partner.

What Perko is
Perko is an employee wellbeing and benefits platform. Employers make relevant benefits, services, resources and experiences available. Employees privately discover and access what they are eligible for. Category partners provide the underlying specialist services.
Perko is not payroll, an HR information system, an insurer, a direct wellbeing clinic, or a legal-compliance product. Listing a specialist service does not mean Perko delivers that service.
Website use
You may browse the public site for information about Perko. Content is provided for general information. It is not employment, medical, financial or legal advice.
If you send an enquiry through the contact form, you confirm the details you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that we may use them to respond, as described in our privacy notice.
Accounts and roles
There is no public employee sign-up. Accounts are issued by Perko or by an employer or partner organisation for a defined role: Perko administrator, employer administrator, employee, or partner user.
- Keep your password confidential and tell us if you believe it has been compromised.
- Use only the account issued for your role. Do not attempt to access another organisation's data.
- Employers control who is enrolled as an employee and when access should be disabled.
- We may suspend or disable an account to protect the platform, comply with law, or honour an employer or partner request.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Perko for unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purposes;
- probe, disrupt or overload the service, or circumvent access controls;
- scrape or harvest personal information beyond what your role is meant to see;
- misrepresent who you are or which organisation you represent;
- upload or transmit malware or content you do not have rights to use;
- use platform access to surveil employees in ways that break the privacy rules of the product or applicable law.
Benefits, partners and funding
What an employee can see depends on eligibility configured for their workplace. Presence on the platform does not mean every offer is available to every person.
Before taking up an offer, the employee should be able to see the provider, cost or contribution, terms, limits and access method that apply. Employer-funded, shared-cost and employee-paid arrangements are different; funding and eligibility are separate.
Category partners remain responsible for delivering their own services. Perko helps employees discover and access what their employer has made available. Partner-specific terms may also apply at the point of fulfilment.
We do not promise health, productivity or culture outcomes from using Perko. Engagement insight for employers is about use of the programme, not clinical results.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our privacy notice. Confidential counselling and similar sensitive services are reported to employers only in aggregate, privacy-preserving ways. Employers do not receive clinical notes, diagnoses or counselling content through Perko.
Content and branding
The Perko name, tagline, marks and site content are owned by Perko or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for your own product or marketing without permission, except for ordinary viewing of the site or fair quotation with attribution.
Wellbeing dimensions used to organise the product are research-informed organising ideas, not a claim of proprietary measurement methodology.
Limits of responsibility
The website and platform are provided for the purposes described above. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Perko is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for partner service quality, clinical outcomes, or employment decisions made by an employer.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Employer and partner commercial terms, when agreed in writing, may set additional service levels and remedies for paid use of the platform.
The public site and pilot product continue to evolve. Features described in product materials may be limited, paused or changed as the pilot matures.
Governing law
Perko's first market is Zambia. These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Zambia, without prejudice to mandatory protections that apply to you in your place of residence or work. Courts in Zambia are the intended venue for disputes that cannot be resolved directly, unless a written customer agreement says otherwise.
These terms are a practical public notice for the current site and pilot. They are not a substitute for a negotiated customer contract or jurisdiction-specific legal review before a wider commercial launch.
